Scherpe geesten duiden dat een foto die tijdens de demo 5 oktober 2025 op X werd gedeeld als “gemaakt op de Dam” in werkelijkheid van een demonstratie in Duitsland (2024) komt. Op het bord wordt de aanslagen van Hamas van 7 oktober 2023 verheerlijkt. De context is misleidend. Het beeld werkt wél.

Wat we zien:
– Bronaccount & patroon: de Nederlandse poster en aanhanger radicaal-rechtse partij post naast deze desinformatie herhaaldelijk over White Lives Matter, omvolking en islamisering.
– Verspreiding ondanks debunk: eigen onderzoek toont aan dat het bericht inmiddels 277.014 weergaven alleen al op X heeft behaald, óók nadat de misleiding is aangetoond. De poster gaat door met verspreiden. Een eerder account van de poster is geblokkeerd; sinds 6 december 2024 is een nieuw account actief met hetzelfde thema en 10 duizenden posts.
– AI: bij navraag aan X’s AI (Grok) verschijnt een duiding dat het “echt” lijkt. AI kan desinformatie legitimeren. Vraag het dan ook niet om belangrijke zaken als bijvoorbeeld stemadvies.

Waarom dit ertoe doet
Beelden uit een andere plaats/tijd + een geladen caption (sturende triggers) = super framer. Rond zo’n gevoelige herdenkingsdatum werkt dit als katalysator voor polarisatie.

Wat helpt (checks):
– Zoek de herkomst (reverse image / datum & locatie).
– Check de poster (historie, thema’s, eerdere blokkades).
– Meld & corrigeer (link naar debunk, bied context).
– Wees waakzaam met vragen aan AI.
